Questions

Crawfish in Chattanooga: what to know

How fresh are the crawfish?

Every sack is the prior day's catch. We pick them up in Louisiana ourselves and haul them in an insulated trailer with two air conditioners running the whole way. It's the freshest you can get around Chattanooga without driving to Louisiana.

How much is a sack?

We set the price every Monday by noon, following the Louisiana market. Full sacks are 30 lbs minimum and half sacks are 15 lbs minimum, and any extra weight is yours. Select (larger) crawfish come in 30 lb sacks. Join the weekly crawfish report to get each week's price first.

What days do you come to Chattanooga?

Most stops are Friday and Saturday. A few are Saturday only, and each stop shows its days. Friday orders close Thursday at 5 pm CT and Saturday orders close Friday at 5 pm CT.

How do I find you at the stop?

We text you about 30 minutes before we arrive. Look for the gray Ford F-250 pulling a white cargo trailer. Tap your stop above for the exact spot in the lot.

What should I bring?

A cooler or some kind of container. Don't ride the sack loose in an open truck bed; wind and heat will kill the crawfish.

When does the season start?

The 2027 season starts in late February. Join the weekly crawfish report by email or text and we'll tell you the week ordering opens.
